She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Matheny and Lizzie Matheny (Erwin); her husband Merrill Almquist (Lynn Prather); and her siblings, Sonny Matheny, Richard Matheny, Wendell Matheny and Elizabeth Rasmussen (Roger).
She is survived by: her daughter Jenell; her grandchildren, Lee Anderson (Susan) of Alexandria, VA, Lori Ruscko (Jerry) and Greeley; her great grandchildren, Claire, Eli Wood, Evan and Maia Anderson; her stepgreat-grandchildren, Jake, Natalie and Zach Ruscko; and her sister-in-law Lola Matheny. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
