With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lyle E. Betts (Clarinda, Iowa), born in Auburn, Nebraska, who passed away on November 5, 2023 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Betts and Lillian Betts (Byrom); and his sisters, Wanda Reed and Barbara Kay Bolan (Dan). He is survived by: his former wife Myra Tanner; his wife Sharon Wilmes; his children, Byron Copeland (Kim), Cindy Haynes (Tracy), Wendy Rowell (Steve) and Timothy Betts (Sheri); his brother Bobby Betts; and his brothers-in-law, Jim Reed and Greg Wilmes. He is also survived by several grandchildren, great-grandchildren many nieces, nephews, and friends.
