We are sad to announce that on January 25, 2021, at the age of 93, Grace Johnson Forbes of Clarinda, Iowa, born in Shambaugh, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Floyd Pierson and Florence Pierson (Johnston); her former spouse Llewellyn W. Johnson (Johnnie); her sons, Arnold Warren (Dionne) of Red Oak and Bruce Allen (Jeanette) of Elmo; her granddaughter Marci; her husband Paul E. Forbes; her friend Ruth Hunter; her children, Joy (Dan Straley) of Branson and Clint Johnson of Oakes; her grandchildren, Lisa, Andrea, Michael, Michelle, Nathan, Nichole, Nacaela, Nashae, Cole, Lacey, Trista, Wyatt, Josie and Devon; and her nieces and nephews, Mary Lou Branstrator, Jeanne Hatcher, Mona Weatherson, Naomi Stimson, Barb Shumaker, Ron Johnson, Ed Pierson and Tom Gentry. She was also cherished by 26 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to the donor's favorite charity in Grace's honor.
