He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar Anderson and Mabel Anderson (Martin); his spouse Marvis Bayes; and his siblings, Francis Naegele, Evelyn Montgomery and Raymond Anderson.
He is survived by: his children, Nancy Kripal (John), Annette Brown (David), Brenda Quesada (Jeff Carnagey), Dan Anderson (LeeAnn), Angie Shaw (George) and Shannon Hilker (Randy); his stepdaughters, Phyllis Montrose and Gretchen Estep (Bill); his grandchildren, Jessica Kuntzweiler, Carissa Brown, Amanda Brown, Chelsea Mortensen (Josh), Chad Quesada (Christina Samano), Marissa Anderson (Carter Crooks), Jagger, Steele and Ian Hilker; and his stepgrandchildren, Heidi Huston (Jonathan), Renee Ferree (Adam) and Andrea Thompson (Ron). He is also survived by many great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and a community of friends.
Memorial donations may be made to the family, which will be directed to the Alzheimer's Association and to the Ambassador Care Facility in Sydney, Iowa.
