He is survived by: his wife Mary "Ginger" Sunderman of Virginia; his sons, James Glen Edward, Charles Kenneth Ernest (Amy) of Blanchard, Ray Darrell Eugene (Rachelle) of Atlantic, Iowa and Jim McCalla of Clarinda; and his grandchildren, Henry, Eleanor, Genevieve, Knox McCalla, Taylor, Tanner Peterson, Brayden and Kinsey McCalla.
