It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Doris Jean (Newberry) Allen of Clarinda, Iowa, born in Ravenwood, Missouri, who passed away on October 27, 2023, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Palmer Newberry and Bessie Newberry; her siblings, Woodrow Newberry, Roscoe Newberry, James Newberry, Carl Newberry, Kenneth Newberry, Roberta Grimes, Pauline King and Una Williams; and her granddaughter Jaime Morehouse.
She is survived by: her former husband James Morehouse; her son William Joseph "Joe" (Kristi); her husband Clifford Allen; her son Steve (Brenda); her grandchildren, Stephenie Fuller, Bill Morehouse (Anja), Emily Morehouse (Danielle) of Kelly Morehouse, T. J. and Brandon Morehouse; and her stepgrandchildren, Michael and Kira. She is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren and other relatives and friends.
