She is survived by: her husband Richard Mowery of Clarinda, Iowa; her children, Kathy Tomlinson (Ernie) of Brooklyn, Iowa and Steve Mowery (Brenda) of Clarinda, Iowa; her grandson Paul Mowery (Sarah) of Des Moines, Iowa; her brother Richard Higday (Jude) of Ankeny, Iowa; her nephew Rick Higday (Silvia) of Houston, Texas; her niece Lisa Butler of Carroll, Iowa; and her parents, Lewis Higday and Helen Higday. She is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
She had battled Alzheimer's Disease for 17 years, with a smile on her face, a kind word for everyone she met, and a song of love and amazing grace for the Lord in her heart.
