With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lyle Tompkins (Clarence, Iowa), who passed away on November 15, 2019 at the age of 69. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Tompkins and Lillian Tompkins (Gabel); his son Todd; his grandparents, Lyle, Bernice Tompkins, William and Mary Gabel; his parents-in-law, Karl and Meredith Johnston; and his siblings-in-law, Andy Falco and Karen Hickey.
He is survived by: his wife Wendy Tompkins; his children, Heather Covington (Tony) of Anamosa, Roy Tompkins of Clarence and Karl "K. C."; his grandchildren, Makayla, Emily, William, Adelyn, Ali, Eddie and Nolan; his sisters, Cheryl Williams (Randy) of Troutville, VA, Mary Mommsen (Bill) of Elvira, Roanne Willey (Mark) of Center Junction, Beverley Hickle (Bob) of Blue Grass, Valerie Wherry (Steve) of Wyoming and Chauncey "Tommy" Tompkins (Deb) of Monmouth; and his siblings-in-law, David Hickey, Carol Falco of Solon, Nancy Wurster (Terry) of Springville, Joyce Berg (Ron) of Claremore, OK, Lyle Johnston (Kellie) of Claremore, OK and Jeff Johnston (JoLynn) of Warsaw, KY.
