He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward H. Koch and Bernice M. Graft Koch; his wife Joan Margaret Colvin; and his siblings, James, Robert and Joan.
He is survived by: his sons, David Koch (Kathy) of Shawnee, KS, James Koch (Jane) of Stanwood, Kerry Koch (Roxanne) of Robins, IA and Karl Koch (Joan) of Clive, IA. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
The family greatly appreciates the care and love provided by the staff at the Clarence Nursing Home and asks that any memorials be directed to the Clarence Nursing Home, 402 2nd Avenue, Clarence IA 52216 and be noted "Koch memorial for staff".
