He was predeceased by: his parents, Tony Mallinger and Christina Mallinger (Nelson); his siblings, Paul Mallinger, Eugene Mallinger (Deanna), Anthony Jr. Mallinger, Alice Francois (Eugene), Lena Mallinger and Mary Mallinger; and his grandson Johnathan Mallinger.
He is survived by: his wife Joan Adent; his children, Mary Romoser (Bob) of Keota, Marsha Condon (Mark) of Clare, Dan Mallinger (Andi) of Norwalk, Dave Mallinger of Rushmore, MN, Michelle Miller (Brian) of Coppell, TX, Maree Schroder (Andy) of Omaha, NE, Megan Scott (Jeff) of Indianapolis, IN and Doug Mallinger (Autumn) of Independence, KY; his sisters, Margaret Arndorfer (Ken) of Austin, MN and Janet Wagner of Fort Dodge; and his sister-in-law Deanna Mallinger of Cedar Falls. He is also survived by 19 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren.
