With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Kirk A. Benson of Clare, Iowa, who passed away on December 30, 2021 at the age of 71. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his son Michael Benson; his parents, Kenneth Benson and Helen Benson (Nichols); his siblings, Kenneth Benson Jr. and Kristy Ott; his parents-in-law, Pat and Dot Grell; his nephew Chad Grell; and his sister-in-law Lynn Deal (Grell).

He is survived by: his wife Glenda Grell; his pet Finley; his daughter Amy Ball (Rod) of Cedar Falls; his grandchildren, Kaden and Meghan; his son Ken Benson (Linda) of Phoenix, AZ; his grandchildren, Tyler and Ryan; and his brother Kevin Benson of Dayton. He is also survived by nieces, and nephews.
