She was predeceased by: her husband Fred Schmieder; her parents, Steve Miklo and Betty Miklo (Jondle); her former husband Darrel "Swede" Richardson; her brother Johny Miklo; and her grandchildren, Crystal Schooley and Andrew Schmieder.
She is survived by: her children, Anna Marie Stewart (Jack) of Yucca Valley, CA, Jeannie A. Smith Pendergraft (John) of Hayes, VA, Jackie Kelso of Fort Dodge, Fred Schmieder (Wendi) of Fort Dodge and Richard Schmieder (Susan) of Jesup; and her siblings, Pauline Ball of Fort Dodge, Jim Miklo of Island Park, ID, Rose Mary Hefley (George) of Omaha, NE, Barbara Hunt (Dan) of Clare, Beth Mortenson (Mike) of LeMars, Don Miklo (Donna) of Clare, Robert Miklo (Matthew Lage) of Iowa City and Kathy Kenny (Jimmy) of Vincent. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren.
