He was predeceased by: his parents, Carlisle Schumacher and Charlotte Schumacher (McCoy); his sisters, Norma Doyle (Chuck) and Sharyn Trask; his brother-in-law Richard Brighi; and his great grandchild Pace.
He is survived by: his former wife Judith Sullivan; his wife Judy "Gertie" of Clare; his daughters, Audra, Eisen of Fort Dodge, Brenda, Amy "Mule", Angie "Chuck" Schumacher of Barnum and Sarah "Julio" Schumacher of Fort Dodge; his siblings, Robert Schumacher (Phyllis) of Iowa Falls, Sue Brighi of Greeley, CO and Richard Schumacher of New Virginia, IA; and his brother-in-law Fred Trask of Webster City. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins.
