He is survived by: his children, Michael (Janice) of Palmer, Tracy (Phyllis) of Heron Lake, MN and Laura Askeland of Mesa, AZ.; his grandchildren, Carrie Gabriel, Andrew Askeland, Tyler Nitch, Dakota Nitch, Trevor Askeland and Aeriel Peterson; his great grandchildren, Robert, Drake, Aubree, Austin, Elizabeth, Lilly, Emma, Eleanor, Dixon and Mackenzie; and his spouse Jean Rathbun.
