It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rexine Johnson (Churdan, Iowa), who passed away on January 30, 2020, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Guy Kinsman and Ida Kinsman (Stream); her husband Boyce Johnson; and her sisters, Ava Kinsman, Atha Tasler and Viola Lauver.
She is survived by: her children, Doug Johnson (Debra) of Clive, Larry Johnson of Ankeny and Anita Van Horn (Todd Van Horn) of Jefferson; her friend Paton-Churdan; her granddaughters, Brittany Johnson, Stacy McElliott and Megan Anderson; and her great grandchildren, Morgan, Moya McElliott, Broxton and Sadie Anderson.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be given to the First Baptist Church or the Paton-Churdan School Athletic Fund. ————————————– Rexine Johnson, the daughter of Guy and Ida (Stream) Kinsman, was born August 26, 1922 at her parent's farm home near Churdan, Iowa and departed this life January 30, 2020 at the Greene County Medical Center in Jefferson, Iowa.
