It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Patricia Anne Schmitt of Churdan, Iowa, who passed away on October 27, 2023, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Aloysius Richtsmeier and Anastasia Richtsmeier (Cloonen); her husband Paul Cletus Schmitt; her daughter Kathy; and her siblings, Alice Baciulis, Fran Engstrom, Jan Bauer and Bob Richtsmeier.
She is survived by: her sons, Chuck Schmitt (Linda) of Lohrville, IA, Tony Schmitt (Teresa) of Urbandale, IA, Ken Schmitt (Angie) of Carroll, IA, Bill Schmitt (Jan) of Alleman, IA and Steve Schmitt (Liisa) of Minneapolis, MN; her grandchildren, Kelly, Brittany, Stacey, Steve, Rosie, Luke, Lydia, Britni, Bryce, Morgan, Devan, Taylor, Erik, Lukas and Patrik; and her brother Dave Richtsmeier. She is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren.
