She was predeceased by: her parents, John "Jack" and Bernice Burke (Thornton); and her brother-in-law Clint Minnehan. She is survived by: her children, Chad Smith (Tamara) of Waukee, Chris Smith of Rockwell City and Jennifer Scheidegger (Kerry) of Jolley; her siblings, Renee Minnehan of Carroll, Jacque Happe (Tony) of Churdan, Joleen Matthews of Minot, ND, Mary Pat Burke of Jefferson and Michael Burke (Jean) of Alpharetta, GA; and her spouse Terry Smith. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren.
