He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Richards and Rose Richards (Finger); and his siblings, Beulah Peters, Laura Ellis and Herman.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley Tasler of Jefferson; his father-in-law Rudolph Tasler; his children, Mike (Heather) of Jefferson and Denise (Bryon Holst) of Forest City; his grandchildren, Jason, Krista, Cole, Clarissa, Bryanna, Joshua, Tyler, Kylie and Rachel; his great grandchildren, Tajia, Taya, Emilee, Jaxon, Adysen, Hallee, Chesney, Zeppelin, Cassandra and Emerson; and also Beth Diffley of Minneapolis, MN..
