He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Hunt and Anna Hunt (Peters); his wife Donna Rae Staples; his son Ron; his sisters, Dorene Zacharias and Mildred; his brother-in-law Arnold Heuton; his brother Edger; his sister-in-law Kay Hunt; and his sister Lois Ryan.
He is survived by: his children, Linda Kesselring (Rick) of Adair, IA, Sharon Phillips (Kenny) of Indianola, IA, Ken Hunt (Nancy) of Grimes, IA, Karol Wiederien (Gerald) of Carroll, IA and Larry Hunt (Sheri) of Anita, IA; and his brothers-in-law, Rich Ryan and Raymond Staples (Colene). He is also survived by seventeen grandchildren; thirty-one great-grandchildren.
