He was predeceased by: his parents, Chester Denton and Agnes Denton (Sharp); and his sisters, Audrey and Winnifred. He is survived by: his wife JoAnn Denton of Avoca, Iowa; his sons, Steve Denton (Marge) of Avoca, Iowa and Scott Denton (Coronne) of Red Oak, Iowa; his grandchildren, Ryan, Todd, Sarah and Jason; and his brother Bryon Denton (Carolyn) of Orland, California. He is also survived by 9 great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews and many friends.
