He is survived by: his daughter Alice; his wife Alice Schroeder of Chester, IA; his children, Dave Schroeder (Darla) of St. Louis, MO, Dan Schroeder (Amy) of Cresco, IA, Leann Thomas (Jim) of Rochester, MN, Lori Johnson (Keith) of Alta Vista, IA and Lavonne Speer (Bruce) of Chester, IA; his grandchildren, Ryan Schroeder (Daniele) of Wichita, KS, Aaron Schroeder (Rusty Ince) of San Bruno, CA, Lacey Newell (Justin) of Lime Springs, IA, Cody Speer (Megan) of Cresco, IA, Drew Johnson (Maggie) of New Hampton, IA, Deanne Vaughan (Joe) of Minneapolis, MN, Dana Lehmann (Erik) of Iowa City, IA, Brady Speer (Tye) of Rochester, MN, Jacob Thomas (Somy) of Chicago, IL, Amber Schroeder of Decorah, IA, Abby Thomas of Chicago, IL and Seth Schroeder of Blacksburg, VA; and his siblings, Kenneth Schroeder (Barb) of Albert Lea, MN and Wanda Steuber (Ken) of Columbia, SC.. He is also survived by twenty great-grandchildren.
