We are sad to announce that on April 30, 2023, at the age of 90, William Mongan of Cherokee, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Walton Mongan and Ruby Mongan (Warner); his brother Don; his sister-in-law Charlene Mongan; his siblings, Bob Mongan and Connie; and his brother-in-law Ed Albaugh.

He is survived by: his wife Norma Gerjets of Cherokee, Iowa; and his sons, Jim Mongan (Veronica) of Cherokee, Tom Mongan (Kelley) of Cherokee, Tim Mongan (Larinda) of Ankeny and Dan Mongan (Casey). He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren.
