It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Thomas Ray Amis in Cherokee, Iowa, born in Spencer, Iowa, who passed away on February 19, 2022, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Amis and Charlotte Amis (Barglof); his wife Shirley Dandy; his stepson Mick Beck; his siblings, Ronald Amis, Carol and Dee; and his pets, Shep, Suzie and Sam.
He is survived by: his pet Oliver; and also Terry Beck (Jackie) of Spencer, IA. He is also survived by many grandchildren; great-grandchildren; Other relatives and many friends.
