It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sherald Fredrick Grauer (Cherokee, Iowa), born in Cleghorn, Iowa, who passed away on July 5, 2023, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Fred Grauer and Cecelia Grauer (Mackowski); his wife Carole; his siblings, Dale, Robert and Evelyn Stoner; his brothers-in-law, Charles Stoner, Orville Saxby, Joe Veale, Donald Radke and LeRoy Larson; his daughters, Gina Frank (David) of Aitkin, MN and Connie Grauer (Gayle) of Iowa City, IA; his grandchildren, Spenser Frank (Karen) of Purcellville, VA, Mason Frank of Aurora, CO and Casey Frank of Aurora, CO; his great grandchildren, Warren and Harlan; his sisters, Darlene Radke of Cherokee, Lila Saxby of Cherokee, Shirley Larson of Cherokee, Mary Ann Rasmus and Margie Veale of San Diego, CA; his siblings-in-law, Wilma Grauer of Sanborn, IA and Bill Rasmus of San Diego, CA; and also Cecelia. He was also cherished by several nieces and nephews.
