Merle D. Wester Obituary

He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Wester and Mabel Wester (Anderson); his daughter Sara Ruth Wester; his grandson Paul Wester (PJ); his siblings, Eleanor Lundell (Burton), Roy Wester (Elsie), Dale Wester (Pat) and Vernon Wester (Ruby); and his brother-in-law Robert Mortenson.

He is survived by: his wife Eleda Reimers; his sons, Timothy Wester (Ann) of Paullina, David Wester (Julie) of Paullina, Steven (Fayette) of Phoenix and Paul Wester (Becky) of Primghar, Iowa; his grandchildren, Amy Douglas (Joshua), Matthew Wester (Carrie), Lydia Foo (Ryan), Trent Wester (Kelley), Aaron Georgen-Wester (Michael), Wendy Salisbury (Eric), Mark Wester (Melinda), Kari Stika (Cody), Andrew Wester (Anneliese), Seth Wester (Monica), Sara Van Zee (Micah), Leta Faust (Marcus) and Daniel Wester; his great grandchildren, Jordan, Levi, Ean, Jaxtan, Wyatt, Asher, Phoebe, Keelynn, Kiera, Nolan, Eliza, Charlie and Coy; and his sisters, Evelyn Kludas (Karl) of Cherokee, Lorraine Mortenson of Cherokee and Jeannette Johnson (Larry) of Cherokee, Iowa. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts can be given to Oakdale EFC missions, designated for Congo.
