With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Marvin W. Peterson (Cherokee, Iowa), who passed away on July 25, 2019 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Peterson and Mildred Peterson (Bell); his parents-in-law, Leonard and Mildred Anderson; his wife Carol; his sisters, Joyce Gould (Kenny) and Jane Ann Wilmot (Dale); and his brothers-in-law, Richard Anderson and Carl Gerald Anderson.
He is survived by: his children, Marvin K. "Butch" Peterson of Papillion, Kathy Stief (Mark) of Larrabee, Iowa, Lori LaFave (Tim) of Cherokee, Iowa, Joe Peterson (Linda) of Cherokee, Iowa and Sheila Alesch (Doug) of Marcus, Iowa.; and his sister-in-law Anita Anderson. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; and numerous great great grandchildren.
