Schleef (Joani) of Cherokee; his grandsons, Henry and Melvin; his children, James Steward of Cody, Wyoming and Kory Putnam (Jill) of Cherokee; his grandchildren, Bubba, Tanner and Madison of Cherokee, Iowa; his daughter Wendy Soule (Corey); his grandchildren, Jazmine, Jade and Taylor of Boyden, Iowa; his close friend Peggy Putnam of Kinnear, Wyoming; and also, Mary Kay Langholdt (Dennis) of Boone, Iowa, Michael Schleef (Shari) of Columbus Junction, Iowa, Monica Anfinson (Jerry) of Morristown, TN., Melanie Robinson of Larchwood, Iowa, Mark Schleef (Staci) of Cherokee, Iowa, Matthew Schleef (Janel) of Cherokee, Iowa and Molly Galm (David) of Spencer, Iowa. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
