She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard Reineking and Marjorie Reineking; and her brother Merril Reineking. She is survived by: her husband Norman Nissen; her children, Heidi Malek and Adam Nissen; her grandchildren, James Malek and Ava Laurae Nissen; and her children-in-law, Alanna Nissen and Aaron Maleh.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Greenwood Schubert Funeral Home - Cherokee (216 S 2nd St, Cherokee, IA 51012). A memorial service was held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the same location.
