With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lois Ann Hobson (Cherokee, Iowa), who passed away on October 22, 2019 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Andrew Sorensen and Esther Sorensen (Hansen); her husband Kenneth R. Hobson; and her sisters, Marilyn Heineking and Rhogene Sorensen.
She is survived by: her children, Dan Hobson (Sandra) of Des Moines, Kathleen Hobson of Rock Island, IL and Joelle Pigott (Frank) of Cherokee, IA; her grandchildren, Jason Pigott (Megan), Christopher Pigott (Shelby), Jennifer Dyslin (Jake), Sarah Calvert (Stewart) and Laura (Todde); and her siblings, Andrew Sorensen of Kirkland, WA and Caryl Vande Voort of Kentwood, MI. She is also survived by nine great grandchildren.
