She was predeceased by: her parents, Ronald Christian and Roxana Holleran Behn; her grandparents, Ralph, Margaret Christian, Joseph and Margaret Holleran; her in-laws, Martin Barrett Sr. and Uzlia Henson Barrett; and her grandson Shane Lundy.
She is survived by: her husband Kenneth Barrett Sr.; her child Kari Lundy (Kevin) of Cherokee, IA; her grandchildren, Kaia Smith (Tommy), Christian, Collin and Cael Lundy; her child Kris Walter (Daniel) of St. Cloud, MN; her grandchildren, Natalie Dvorak (Alex), Brittany, David, Julianna and Sara Walter; her son Kenneth Jr. Barrett (Rhonda) of Watkinsville, GA; her granddaughters, Kaitlyn and Kaylee Barrett; her siblings, Pandora Phipps (Dana), Scott Christian (Jill) and Jill Lynch (Daren); her stepbrothers, Nicholas Behn (Yvonne) and Douglas Wortman; her siblings, Ginny Bunt (Mike), Armond and Cassady Rider; and her nieces and nephews, Levi and Knox. She is also survived by 8 great-grandchildren, 7 sister and brother in-laws; many nieces, nephews and friends.
A rosary was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 at 4:30 PM at the Greenwood-Schubert Funeral Home - Cherokee (216 S 2nd St, Cherokee, IA 51012). Visitation was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church (709 W Cedar St, Cherokee, IA 51012). A burial was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 2:15 PM at the Mount Calvary Cemetery (1498 520th St, Cherokee, IA 51012).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to the Catholic Daughters which will be used to help with Kim's Meals.
