It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved JoAnn Doris Reinert of Cherokee, Iowa, who passed away at the age of 91, on January 15, 2025. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph and Anna (Goetzinger); and her siblings, Robert, Marie Schnepf, William, Bernadette Schnepf, Doris, Oswald Arens, Hildegard, Harold Cerveny, Milo and Helen Schnepf.
She is survived by: her children, Susan Huggler (Ron) of San Antonio, TX, Thomas of McMinnville, OR, Patrick (Marla) of Cedar Rapids, IA and Matthew (Ellie Rosenfeld) of Fairport, NY; and her sister-in-law Barbara Reinert of Sioux City, IA. She is also survived by six grandchildren; three great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 11th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Greenwood Schubert Funeral Home - Cherokee (216 S 2nd St, Cherokee, IA 51012). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 12th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church (709 W Cedar St, Cherokee, IA 51012). A burial will be held on Saturday, July 12th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at 975 540th St, Cherokee, IA 51012.
