Jerome D. Peterson Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jerome D. Peterson (Cherokee, Iowa), who passed away on December 14, 2019 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Peterson and Vera Peterson (Roseen); his daughter Debra; and his sister Patty Pyle (Peterson). He is survived by: his wife Joyce; his children, Judy Lee (Mike) of Spirit Lake, Iowa, Rick (June) of Washta, Iowa, Guy (Teri) of Washta, Iowa and Jim (Julie) of Washta, Iowa; and his siblings-in-law, Virgil Pyle of Cherokee and Gladys Bliss (Pyle) of Sacramento, California.. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren; 5 step-grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and 6 step-great-grandchildren.
The family would be grateful for any memorials to be directed to Cherokee area hospices; Operation Smile; or to St. Paul's United Methodist Church in Cherokee.
