Janice L. Burns Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Janice L. Burns of Cherokee, Iowa, who passed away on November 20, 2024, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence O'Connor and Geraldine O'Connor (Armstrong); her husband Robert Burns; her granddaughter Ashley Clausen-Wilson; and her siblings, Greg, Tom, Steven O'Connor and Linda Williams.
She is survived by: her children, Ramona Carlson (Greg), Ora Dixon (Chris), David Burns (Becky), Sheila Miller (Nick), Shari Black (Andy), Amber Malo (Daniel), Samantha Meyer (Michael), Devon Burns, Taresa Moriston (Rob), Ethan Burns (Ekko) and Shianna Burns; her granddaughter Elizabeth Timmins; and her siblings-in-law, Mickey Williams, Jenell O'Connor and Carol O'Connor. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, November 30th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the Grace United Methodist Church (509 5th St, Correctionville, IA 51016).
