It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Howard William Shear (Cherokee, Iowa), who passed away on September 11, 2019, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Randall W. Shear and Harriett Shear (Smith); his siblings, Judy VanDenBerg, Janice Terrill and Harold Shear (Butch); and his nephew Jon Marshall.
He is survived by: his wife Debra Boettger; his children, Sheila Reeves (Garret), Randall Shear (Lauren) and Danielle Clausen (Shane); his grandchildren, Samantha Gill (Chris), Summer Reeves, Sarah Decious (Noah), Shelby Reeves, Sydney Reeves, Amber Feeney, Chloe Shear, Kaden Shear, Kasha Shear, Katharine Claussen and Megan Claussen; his great grandchildren, Kai and Reynolds; and his siblings, Jeanne Morrow (Vince), Julie Marshall, Henry Shear (Pat) and Joyce Cihal.
