It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Harlan Hanson (Cherokee, Iowa), who passed away on May 20, 2019, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Hanson and Essie Hanson (Fitch); his parents-in-law, John and Rachel Lanegan (Stevens); his siblings, Irene Rolfs (Richard) and Loren Hanson; and his brothers-in-law, Bob, John and Phil Lanegan.
He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Lanegan; his children, Jana Hoppe (Dan) of Le Mars, Jeff Hanson (Connie) of Le Mars, Jay Hanson of Sioux Falls and Jon Hanson (Karla) of Grimes, Iowa; his grandchildren, Chad Hoppe (Jill), Tyler Hoppe (Stephanie), Maria Goodman (Dan), Alison Hanson, Tim Hanson (Danielle), Tiffany Suarez (Nick), Elizabeth Hanson, Sam Hanson and Ben Hanson; and his siblings-in-law, Patsy Morrow (Walt) and Darrell Lanegan. He is also survived by nephews and other relatives.
