With heavy hearts, we announce the death of George W. Williams (Cherokee, Iowa), born in Everly, Iowa, who passed away on July 4, 2019 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Williams and Lois Williams (Cogdill); his wife Geraldine Clauson; his brother Gene Williams (Darlene Williams); and his brother-in-law Jerry Goodburn.

He is survived by: his sister-in-law Darlene Weigart of Storm Lake, IA. He is also survived by nieces and nephews, great nieces, nephews and great grand nieces and nephews.

The family requests that memorials be made to the First Baptist Church or the Cherokee Depot Renovation.
