With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gene Edward Bilney of Cherokee, Iowa, born in Plainview, Nebraska, who passed away on April 12, 2022 at the age of 72. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father William Bilney. He is survived by: his mother Betty Jean Bilney (Meikle) of Cherokee, Iowa; and his siblings, Michael Bilney (Camille) of Arvada, Colorado, Deborah Bush (Dennis) of Cherokee, Iowa, Richard Bilney of Redding, California, Kathy Geringer (Rick) of Wheatland, Wyoming and Eric Bilney (Lora) of Terril, Iowa.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Cherokee Hospice.
