It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gayle R. Scott of Cherokee, Iowa, who passed away on June 7, 2022, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Haldane Scott and Arlene Scott (Godberson); his brother Dale Scott; his son-in-law Randy Halverson; and his parents-in-law, Leona and Harm Seggerman.
He is survived by: his daughters, Amy Halverson of Primghar and Angie Fiedler (Mike) of Cherokee, Iowa; his grandchildren, Heather Pottebaum (Adam) of Omaha, Derek Scott (Abby) of Cherokee, Luke Halverson (Jessica) of Primghar and Ryan Fiedler (Brittney) of Cherokee, Iowa; his great grandchildren, Owen Halverson, Emmett Scott, Mason Halverson, Anna Pottebaum and Emberlyn Fiedler; his siblings, Mike Scott (Linda) of Aurelia, Iowa, Connie Leuschen (Bob) of Holstein and Joan Donahue of Sioux City, Iowa; and his sister-in-law Barb Scott of Cherokee, Iowa. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
