With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Frances A. Karlson of Cherokee, Iowa, who passed away on March 28, 2023 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James Anderson and Gertrude Anderson; and her son Bradley (late Carl). She is survived by: her husband Carl Karlson; her children, Karen Scott (Paul) of Denver, David Karlson of Denver and Michael Karlson of Prescott, AZ.; and her grandchildren, Scott Karlson (Lauri), Kristi Evgen (Travis), Kelli Gottula (Trevor), Jeff Karlson, Christopher Scott, Jill Lelchuk (Alex), Danna Karlson, Mollie Karlson and Kramer Karlson. She is also survived by 8 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations in her name can be made to the Cherokee Public Library or Cherokee Volunteer Fire Department.
