She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Dilocker and Lora Dilocker (Boise); her husband Maynard C. Stief; her daughter Machelle Stickler; and her siblings, Earle, Delwood, Caroll, Gerald, Eldon of Byron, B. C. and Wanda Hibbing.
She is survived by: her children, Michael Stief (Tonya) of Shawnee, Maynard "Pat" Stief (Debra) of Traer, Mark Stief (Kathy) of Larrabee and Marlin Stief (Amy) of Cherokee, Iowa; her son-in-law Rick Stickler of LaPorte City, Iowa; her brother Dennis Dilocker (Sharon) of Cherokee, Iowa; and her siblings-in-law, Mahlon Stief of Cherokee, Arnold Hibbing of Minnesota and Joan Ballantyne of Cherokee, Iowa. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren, many great grandchildren, and several great great grandchildren.
