She is survived by: her husband Darrell Lester of Sioux Rapids, Iowa; her daughters, Karla Ahrendsen (Brian) of Sioux Rapids, Iowa and Stacy Knaack (Kenneth) of Correctionville, Iowa; her grandchildren, Megan, Emma, Grace Ahrendsen and William Knaack; her siblings, Pat Rench of Milbank, Melvin Pitts (Marian) of Sioux Rapids, Iowa, Mark Pitts (Nancy) of Hamburg, Iowa, William Pitts (Suzy) of Astoria, Oregon, Kenneth Pitts (Tara Drees) of Rembrandt, Iowa and Scott Pitts (Shannon) of Bentonville, Arkansas; and her siblings-in-law, Ed Dowdy (Jan) of Sioux Rapids, Iowa, Linda Hanson of Ocheyedan, Iowa, Glen Dowdy of Spencer, Iowa, Mary Dowdy of Aurelia, Iowa and Carmen Dowdy of Cherokee, Iowa. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
