We are sad to announce that on September 2, 2024, at the age of 82, Anita J. Hazen (Cherokee, Iowa) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, George Gottsche and Mable Gottsche Sr. (Mesner); her husband Harold M. Hazen; her granddaughter Kristen Hazen; and her siblings, George Gottsche, Jr. (Doris), Evanell Thoms (Lorne), Arlene Schlenger (Lorne), Delores Smith (Donald) and Shirley Pedersen (LeRoy).
She is survived by: her children, Neal Hazen (Kathy) of Newell and Kimberly Staab (Paul) of Remsen, Iowa; and her grandchildren, Nikki Ockerman (Doug), Ryan Hazen (Courtney), Aaron Hazen (Tiffany), Kacy Ramirez (Gerardo), Michael Staab and Mandy Staab. She is also survived by 15 great grandchildren; also several nieces and nephews.
