She was predeceased by: her parents, Louis Balvin and Emma Balvin (Drahos); her husband James R. Malina; and her brother Allen Balvin. She is survived by: her children, Jeanne Bornemann (Mark) of Marion, Barbara Ann Malina of Cedar Rapids, Mike Malina of Lincoln, NE, Cecelia "Sid" Jedlicka (Robert) of Chelsea and John Malina of Griswold; her grandchildren, Nick, Darcy, Rob Jr. and Erin; her great grandchildren, Matthew and Ashlynn; her siblings, Leonard Balvin (Florence) of Chelsea and Evelyn Zmolek of Toledo; and her siblings-in-law, Josephine Balvin of Cedar Rapids and Stanley Malina of Tama.
