It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Wade J. Bruggeman (Charter Oak, Iowa), born in Carroll, Iowa, who passed away on June 8, 2023, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Bruggeman and Edna Bruggeman (Brockmann); his brother Lon Bruggeman; his siblings-in-law, Audrey Lamaak (Jack), Lorraine Schulter and Dr. Gerald Schluter (Carolyn); and also, Emil and Violetta Schluter.
He is survived by: his son Wade; his wife Ruth Bruggeman of Charter Oak, IA; his children, Brian Bruggeman (Susan) of Lincoln, NE and Carol Bruggeman of Louisville, KY; his grandchildren, Emily Shinn (Levi) of Elkhorn, NE and Ethan Bruggeman (Keysha Foulk) of Lincoln, NE; his great grandchildren, Alexander and Theodore Shinn of Elkhorn, NE; his sisters, Nancy Wright of Monroe, IA and Janice Burke (Richard) of Rock Port, MO; and his sister-in-law Rita Hicks (Bill) of Lake City, IA. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Memorial donations may be made to the 'family of Wade Bruggeman' for distribution at a later date for programs surrounding Wade's passions of education and sports.
