He was predeceased by: his parents, Daniel C. McCaffery and Verna L. McCaffery (Rogers); and his son Dan McCaffery. He is survived by: his wife Diane Thomsen of Denison; his daughter Lisa (Roy Burk) of Denison; his grandsons, Dalton Burk of Denison and Austin Burk of Denison; and his siblings-in-law, Charles Thomsen of Dow City and Judy Thomsen of Denison.
