She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Marth and Emma Marth (Petersen); her former husband Walter Kortmann; her brother Norman Marth (Norma); her siblings-in-law, Vera Wiegel, Alice Alberts, Paula Ruchti, Dorothy Lutz and Larry Carlson; and her great grandchild Chance Julin.

She is survived by: her daughters, Penny Ewoldt (Joe) of Vail, Roxanne Wray (Russell) of Mapleton and Sheila Rickers (John) of Westside; her nephew Tim Watts; her children, Lisa Angle (Michael) of Stanberry, Missouri, Lloyd Carlson, Jr. (Lashelle) of Norwalk, LaDonna Rasmussen (Craig) of Galva and Logan Carlson (Colleen) of Norwalk; her husband Lloyd Carlson of Ricketts; her sisters-in-law, Wilma Gundy and Donna Carlson; and also Esther Kortmann. She is also survived by 20 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
