It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Wayne Everett Carlson (Charlotte, Iowa), born in Coon Rapids, Iowa, who passed away on April 10, 2019, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Clifton Carlson and Mildred Carlson; his niece Sheryl Stoermer; and his brothers-in-law, David Essick and Ernie Stoermer.
He is survived by: his wife Charlotte Wiedemer; his daughters, Joyce Carlson of Colorado Springs, CO, Martha St (David), Ruth Schneider (Scott) of Omaha, NE and Carolyn Batschelet (Curtis) of Spencer, Iowa; his grandchildren, Jorie St, Anders St, Grant Schneider and Kyle Schneider; and his siblings, Ronald Carlson (Betty), Janice Stoermer of Spencer, Mary Jane Johnson (Darrel) of San Diego, CA, Shirley Essick of San Diego, CA and Donna Bruce (Mark) of San Diego, CA. He is also survived by other relatives and many friends.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established by the family.
