It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Evelyn Wilhmina Costello of Charlotte, Iowa, who passed away on December 28, 2021, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Joe Banowetz and Pauline Banowetz (Teshak); and her brothers, Joseph, Clarence and Robert Banowetz.
She is survived by: her husband James Costello; her children, Dennis Costello of Charlotte, Diana Costello (Ed Kasemodel) of Grand Mound, Karen Watters (Brian), Arlene Lyon (Mike) of Maquoketa, Laurine Gruhn (Jeff) of Sabula, Louann Reuter of Maquoketa, Dale Costello (Lynn) of Clifton Park and Lois Zabrocky (Frank) of New Canaan, Connecticut; her siblings, Virl Banowetz (Kathy) of Maquoketa and Rita Banowetz of Sugar Creek; her nephew Ben Banowetz (Nicole) of Des Moines; and her sister-in-law Marguerite Banowetz of DeWitt. She is also survived by 20 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.
