He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Robert Sorensen and Dorothy Sorensen (Nohr); his daughters, Jennifer Allen (Jeffrey) of Solon, IA and Jessica Baker (Andrew) of Clinton, IA.; his grandchildren, Grace, Maxon Allen and Emarie Baker; his close friend Elizabeth Miller; his siblings, Wayne Sorensen (Karen) of Gooselake, IA, James Sorensen (Mary Kay) of Maquoketa, IA, Cathy Caven (Garold) of Clinton, IA, Carol Viksne (Andy) of Castle Rock, CO, Dr. Bonnie May of Colorado Springs, CO and Wanda Sorensen (Dale) of Charlotte, IA; his mother-in-law Betty Herman of Bettendorf, IA; and his siblings-in-law, Jeffrey Holle (Joy) of Davenport, IA, Theresa Boley (Tyrone) of Bettendorf, IA, Beth Bates of Preston, IA and Todd Boley. He was also cherished by several nieces and nephews.
