He is survived by: his wife Phyllis; his stepson Steven Thein (Brenda) of Austin, MN; his sister Shirlee Davidson (Glen) of Brentwood, TN; his grandchildren, Tonia Knighten (Phillip) of Charles City, Trevor Thein (Devinee) of Mason City, Coty Hemann and Dakota Thein of Maple Grove, MN; his great grandchildren, Jalen Jones of Charles City, Akil Knighten of Charles City, Malik Knighten of Charles City, Ana Knighten of Charles City, Safiya Knighten of Charles City, Asher, Kaylee Hemann of Maple Grove, MN and Everlee Thein of Mason City; and his sisters-in-law, Shirley Chesmore of Manchester, Carolyn Kipper (Tony) of Monticello and Linda Moritz (Steve) of Manchester.
